Description

The Ceramic Pre-Filter is a key part of filtration of your Alps Water Filter; made from Diatomaceous Earth, it completes the first stage of the filtration process.

It easily removes rust, sediment, organic matter and other potential harmful microorganisms such as bacteria, cysts, and parasites.

Microplastics are in the range of ~2.5 microns in size, although can be smaller or larger.

The Ceramic Pre-Filter removes particle down to 0.2 microns, essentially removing particles 10 times smaller than microplastics.

Requires replacement every 6 – 9 months, with proper care and maintenance.

Please note depending on the batch, the below care video with Peter can be relevant for a new ceramic domes, only if the water is taking longer than 2 hours to move through the filter.

Compatible with Zazen, Nikken PiMag & Nikken PiMag 10 Water Systems (not compatible with Nikken PiMag Waterfall)
